I am coming to realize that even though doctors have extremely decent incomes, that many of them are cash poor. It floored me when I found this out! Doctor being sued ... or not!

Recently I had a doctor tell me that he was worried every single morning about being sued.

I asked him 'Is this because you have some pending lawsuit or a particular situation has occured with a patient?'

He said 'No, I just worry about it happening in the near future!'

Do you see how much extra stress this doctor is experiencing just because of this concern that isn't even reality?

Can you see where this type of thinking makes this doctor feel less than 'invincible'? He is worried as soon as he wakes up in the morning -- to the point where he feels heart palpitations! He feels powerless. 'Invincible' is the last word he would use to describe the way he feels.

Next time you are worried about something that MAY happen, stop and remind yourself that your thoughts create your reality. You have control over what you focus on! Worry is a matter of choice.
